Jason Atkins

Associate Attorney

Jason Atkins is a Litigation Attorney in the Consumer Advocacy Division at Higbee & Associates and brings his expertise and experience from having practiced law for over twenty years as a litigator, throughout the Courts in Virginia. His lengthy and diverse law-practice has found him right at home at Higbee & Associates, where he is very happy to continue his years of service to clients and communities. Jason has found great success in numerous jury trials throughout Virginia and is and has always been a fierce advocate for his clients in any of their respective situations.

Jason earned his law degree from Michigan State University School Of Law, post an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts from Hampden-Sydney College and has been able to contribute this "small-town, small-school; large-city, large-school" perspective to understanding and assisting in all of his clients' circumstances. This unique and valuable perspective also stems from his birth and growth in the city of Richmond, Virginia and his coming-of-age in the town of Abingdon, Virginia, making him, truly, a "country and city mouse."

Jason's "creativity" does not end in the Courtroom, however, as he, also, has culinary, catering and restaurant management experience as well, where service to clients and customers, in these regards, is something that is just as important to him as his other brands of service.

Personal Message: Outside of work, Jason enjoys cooking, running, pickleball, workouts, live music and keeping it real and unreal, through true-crime documentaries and horror and science-fiction films.
