Nicolas De Castro

Associate Attorney

Nicolas De Castro is a Litigation Attorney in the Consumer Advocacy Division at Higbee & Associates since 2026. Previously, he ran his own law practice which primarily focused on family-based immigration, removal defense, criminal defense, and landlord-tenant issues. He also has experience in electronic discovery as a Team Lead working for a company that handled complex anti-trust issues such as Securities and Exchange investigations and mergers and acquisitions.

Nicolas earned his law degree from the University of Arkansas – Little Rock in 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Political Science, and Spanish Language & Literature from Syracuse University. Prior to a law career, he worked for a labor union where he worked as a Political Advisor ensuring union members needs were being heard by local legislators. Nicolas is a first-generation American who is fluent in Spanish.

Personal Message: Outside of work, Nicolas loves to go for a long walk with his two dogs Chewy and Gizmo. He loves to cheer his favorite sports teams on when he can. In addition, Nicolas loves to spend time trying new places to eat with his wife and laughing a lot with his toddler son.
