Associate Attorney

Whitney is a Litigation Attorney in the Consumer Advocacy Division at Higbee & Associates since 2025. For nearly ten years, she has dedicated her entire career to representing consumers in their Breach of Contract and Creditor Collection matters in Arbitration, Law Magistrate, and Small Claims court. She has successfully negotiated settlements for thousands of Illinois and Wisconsin consumers against all the major credit card and unsecured loan companies, such as Discover Bank, American Express, JPMorgan Chase, OneMain and Capital One.

Whitney obtained her J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2016. She graduated with a Certificate in Pro Bono service for her volunteer work as a Live Help Operator at Illinois Legal Aid Online. During law school, Whitney served as the inaugural Judicial Extern to the Honorable Judge Thomas M. Lynch in the United States Bankruptcy Court of the Northern District of Illinois, Western Division. She also concurrently worked as a 711 licensed Law Clerk for the Northern Illinois University Office of General Counsel.

Personal Message: Outside of work, Whitney loves to create new memories with her family through traveling. She has a passion for visiting new countries, especially on cruise ships. She is always in search of a new restaurant and enjoys a well crafted plot through binge watching a series or reading in her spare time.
